A confidence boosting exercise to help the horses not to rush to a fence
In association with MicroPerformance and Windrush Equestrian, Will Furlong goes through confidence boosting exercise that help the horse not rush to a fence:
- Set poles, raised poles or cavallettis 3 yards apart
- Get the horse familiar with the set up and then ensure they are cantering through the grid confidently and without changing leg
- Add in a small jump at the end. You can add V rails to help keep them straight
